Welcome! Dr. Barbara Mallonee DDS is your dentist in the Corona Del Mar and Newport Beach, CA areas.
Welcome to the dental office of Barbara Mallonee. We are dedicated to giving you an outstanding dental experience and want all our patients to feel at ease from the moment they step into our office until they leave.
After practicing traditional dentistry for many years, Dr. Mallonee shifted her focus to “Optimum Dental Physiology” (ODP dentistry). ODP is unique in that the physiological reasons contributing to a dental breakdown are incorporated into the dental treatment. The result is that underlying medical issues are improved and the dental issue is resolved. As an example, any underlying airway constriction issues, as well as the presenting issue of jaw joint pain, are addressed in the treatment of Tempromandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ).
We encourage you to ask lots of questions! Dr. Mallonee want you to know you’re in control of your dental health. She and her team work together to provide personalized treatment and will give you direct access to the doctor after hours. We find an informed and involved patient is most likely to achieve the highest level of success in their health care, and we look forward to working with you to achieve this goal.
Dr. Mallonee specializes in enhancing smiles and maintaining your dental health. Our experienced and friendly team takes great pride in keeping your smile healthy and beautiful. Put your smile and dental health in the hands of a caring and respected dentist who you can trust. Contact Dr. Barbara Mallonee’s office at (949) 640-0222 to schedule your consultation.
What Our Patients Say About Us
“Thank you so very much for your kind treatment and special consideration for my friend. It’s very hard to ask for help sometimes but it’s so nice to know that there are special people like you willing to help when necessary. Your kindness will never be forgotten!”
“I want to thank all of you for being so wonderful earlier this week. Your patience and help was greatly appreciated. And, the fact that Jeffrey say by himself was astounding. I appreciated the excellent cleaning job (as always Gemma) and the inordinate amount of flexibility shown by all.”
“Thank you so for going out of your way to work me into your busy day a few weeks ago. Everyone there is so great and made me feel so much as ease. Thanks again to each of you.”
Meet Our Dentist
Why Choose Us?
Pediatric dentists are dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teen years. They have the experience and qualifications to care for a child’s teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of childhood. Children are not just small adults. They are not always able to be patient and cooperative during a dental exam. Pediatric dentists know how to examine and treat children.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery
Oral surgery deals with the treatment and ongoing management of irregularities and pathology of the jaw and mouth that require surgical intervention.Surgically removing teeth is the most common procedure that oral surgeons perform, but oral surgery as a specialty has a broad scope. This includes managing hard and soft tissue pathology, oral infections, dentoalveolar trauma and oro-facial pain.
Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry concerned with the growth of the face, the development of teeth and jaws and the correction and prevention of abnormalities. Orthodontics has a strong hospital-based consultant service which concentrates on treating the more severe abnormalities. That said, orthodontic specialty practice in the high street is well-developed and expanding with opportunities for NHS.
