Here at Barbara Mallonee, DDS we take a different approach when it comes to Dentistry; our philosophy is Comprehensive Dentistry. Dr. Mallonee will complete a full and comprehensive exam, which includes:

  • Any Necessary X-Rays
  • Examination of Soft Tissue (gums)
  • Full Mouth Exam with an Intra-Oral Camera
  • The Occlusion of Your Bite (the way your teeth come together)
  • Assessment of Your Airway and Breathing/Snoring History

Once your evaluation has been completed, Dr. Mallonee will explain her recommendations. You make the final decisions on any treatments that will be performed for you. Dr. Mallonee takes the time to analyze things other dentists have never looked at before.

Once you choose what work you would like done, we will make you as comfortable as possible. We offer television, blankets, ipods, movies, etc. Our goal is for you to feel as comfortable here as you do at home.

Dr. Mallonee specializes in your mouth and overall health.

Cleanings, Hygiene & Regular Checkups

Dr. Mallonee strongly believes in preventive dentistry as the best possible means of maintaining optimum oral health. Preventive dental care can help you and your family maintain a beautiful, healthy smile by safeguarding against oral diseases, like dental decay, gum disease, or periodontal disease. Our goal is to prevent these diseases from happening in the first place or to catch the problems in their early stages when they are easier and less expensive to treat.

Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet. It continues with Dr. Mallonee and her team to promote, restore and maintain your oral health.

We recommend preventive dental care every six months to maintain optimum health and keep track of any potential problems. More frequent visits may be essential in special circumstances, some of which include pregnancy, periodontal disease, alcohol or tobacco use, diabetes, HIV, etc.

Prevention helps avoid serious and costly dental problems and is the key to having a healthy, confident beautiful smile.
